On Friday, July 10th Dr. Nathaniel M. Smith provided an impressive lecture on contemporary right-wing groups in Japan and the various ideologies that they hold. He drew on over eight years of fieldwork with such groups to trace how their activism has changed in the post 3.11 period, and how their Rightist ideology has been renewed in various ways that rejects both the nuclear state, the anti-nuclear Left, and anti-foreigner activism.
