“From 17-21 August, international students joined the Tourist Resource Discovery Project jointly organized by Hokkaido Univ. and Shintotsukawa Town.
The eight international students advised the town on how to develop its tourism resources from their international point of view.
They experienced to look around the tourist facilities in the town and help farm work while staying at farmer’s houses.
They were fascinated how delicious the rice and natural water were, and the professor pointed out that we should think how we connect the local and global world.”
